Mrs. Leetha Williams Pace a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and friend to so many passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in the care of Hospice of Lake Cumberland. She was a member of the Polls Creek Church of Christ at Smilax, KY. She loved to garden, take long walks and fish. She enjoyed making beautiful quilts, that she showed her love in every patch and stitch.
Leetha was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on November 6, 1927 to the late, Burley and Maggie Pennington Williams. She is survived by one son, Gary (Frances) Williams, step daughters, Evelyn Pace, Sharon Pace, JoAnne Lewis and Linda Cox, daughter in law, Leisa Williams, grandchildren, Jody Williams, Jessica (Ryan) Doan, and Amanda Williams, great grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Taylor (Corey) Leddington, Haydon Williams, Danielle Doan, Ashlin Doan, and William Doan and great great grandchildren, Olivia Williams and Nolan Leddington
Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, first husband, Bud Williams, second husband, Elbert Pace and son, Hershel Williams
Leetha will be greatly missed! Thank you, Hospice Care of Lake Cumberland!
Funeral: Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
Minister: Harold Turner
Interment: Larkin Lewis Cemetery, Smilax, KY.
Pallbearers: Jody Williams, Matt Wiliams, Haydan Williams, Ryan Doan, William Doan and Jimmy Hayes
