Lana Denise Roberts born June 2, 1959 departed this life on Monday – July 7, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 66-years old. Denise was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter Audrey Bowling Blevins and the late Leonard Blevins. Other than her father, Denise was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Roberts; brother, Lenny Blevins; maternal grandparents, Logan & Mandy Bowling; paternal grandparents, John & Bonnie Blevins; father & mother-in-law, Edwin & Ollie Roberts; great-grandparents, Lee & Rachel Bowling.

Denise had retired from working at Oneida Baptist Institute where she enjoyed her time with the faculty and kids. Denise had a fun loving personality, she always made known her love for peanut butter and Jello, as those were her go to foods. Denise loved watching the birds and animals at the farm, as she became fond of watching nature and the natural beauty of the land with her husband Charles. Denise grew up in the Newport Church of God and later in her adult life became affiliated with the Hyden Church of God.

Lana Denise Roberts leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Robyn Amanda Rice & Jeremy of Manchester, KY; mother, Audrey Blevins of Hyden, KY; grandson, Charles William Rice of Oneida, KY; brother, Logan Wayne Bowling & Barbara of Hyden, KY; step-daughters, Charla Gilbert of Richmond, KY an Chavonne Gilbert of Lexington, KY; step-granddaughter, Phoenix Skye; niece, Leah Denise Mosley & Chris; nephews, Wayne Ed Bowling & Billie Sue, Dustin Bowling & Dena; Jordan Blevins & Kacey; and Matthew Blevins; great niece, Haley Bowling; great-nephews, Logan Chase Bowling, Drew Bowling, Dashel Mosley, Shooter Seger Bowling, and Revere Mosley; special friend, Sheryl Gregory; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Lana Denise Roberts will be held on Thursday – July 10, 2025 at the Hyden Church of God from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will follow on Thursday at the Hyden Church of God at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Logan Wayne Bowling and Bishop Lindsey Cornett officiating. The Interment will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East at Hyden, Kentucky.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Will Rice, Jeremy Perry, Wayne Ed Bowling, Dustin Bowling, Chris Mosley, Jordan Blevins, Matthew Blevins, Logan Chase Bowling, Drew Bowling, Shooter Bowling, Dashel Mosley, and Revere Mosley.
