The obituary of Mr. Kenneth Wade "Kenny" Hensley

      Mr. Kenneth Wade "Kenny" Hensley born December 17, 1958 departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019.  He was 60 years old. Kenny was born in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Aster Hensley & Bessie Causey Hensley. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Kenny was a former coal miner. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. Kenny loved playing music with his brother Johnny & his friends, riding atvs, enjoyed watching westerns & spending time with his family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents & a nephew, Jerry "Bud" Hensley, Jr. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving & devoted wife, Kathy Barnes Hensley of Wooton, KY., son, Marcus Coots of Wooton, KY., daughter, Ginger Williams & husband, Josh of Lexington, KY., brothers, Randy Vanover of Yeaddiss, KY., Jerry Hensley of Wooton, KY., Johnny Aster Hensley & wife, Trina of Wooton, KY. & Dwayne Doug Hensley of Wooton, KY., granddaughter, Hailey Royster, his dog, "Trouble" & a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive.

FUNERAL: Thursday, February 28, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

MINISTER: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

INTERMENT: Creech Cemetery, Wooton, KY.

PALLBEARERS: Shannon Napier & Jonathan Wilder

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Anthony Lewis & Wade Bailey

VISITATION: Thursday, February 28, 2019 @ 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral at the Funeral Home Chapel
