Kattie Adams

Kattie Adams, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Hazard ARH Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky. She was 58 years old. Born on November 27, 1967, in Hyden, Kentucky, Kattie was a devoted member of her community and a cherished resident of Leslie County for the past 24 years, having moved from Perry County, Kentucky.

Kattie was known for her nurturing spirit as a loving homemaker, dedicating her life to her family and the comforts of home. Her passions included listening to music and spending time outdoors, activities that brought her immense joy. Nothing brought Kattie more happiness than watching her grandchildren grow and flourish, and she savored every moment spent with her family.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Kattie Adams is remembered not only for her generosity and kindness but also for her unwavering love and commitment to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

Kattie was preceded in death by her parents, David Banks and Clyda Faye Campbell, granddaughter, Arianah Hope Lashay Grace Morgan and brother, Donald (Scooter) Banks. Survivors are, Companion of 24 years, Darrell Walker, Sons, Willis Adams & Ashley, Timothy Adams & Katelynn, Benjamin Holcomb & Victoria and Darrel Hinkle & Crystal, Daughters, Dannie Walker, Melinda Sue Walker and Rachel Faye Walker, Brothers, Arvil Sizemore & Alma and Carl Edward Banks, Sisters, Peggy Logan & Mike and Artie Deneace Callahan & Jimmy, 12 Grandchildren and a host of other relatives & friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY
