Julia Anderson Fillippinie, a beloved figure in her community and family, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, at her residence Yeaddiss, KY. She was 87 years old. Born on June 28, 1937, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Julia was daughter of Milford Joe and Bertha Bowling Anderson.
Julia her life to nurturing her family and was admired for her passion for art and flower gardening. Her creativity and love for nature brought joy not only to her own home but also to those around her. Those who knew Julia appreciated her kindness, warmth, and dedication, qualities that will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched.
Julia is survived by her daughter, Regina Fillippinie, who carries forward her mother’s spirit with love and grace. She also leaves behind her brothers, Bobby Anderson; and her sisters, Joie Thompson and Wilma Harris, all of whom cherished their time together.
In addition to her immediate family, Julia was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren: Brandon Fillippinie, Shantel Lewis Fillippinie, and Nicholas Fillippinie. The joy of being a grandmother brought immense happiness to her life. Julia was also a devoted great-grandmother to six grandchildren, Clayton Fillippinie, Alexis Fillippinie, Krista Foley, Jospeh Foley, Klaira Fillippinie and Jaxon Fillippinie and one great great granddaughter, Xavia Fultz.
Julia was predeceased by her husband, Albert Clayton Fillippinie, whose love and companionship she cherished throughout their life together. The legacy of her parents, Milford and Bertha, is carried on through Julia and her loving family.
Julia Anderson Fillippinie will be remembered as a creative soul who embraced life with a generous heart. Her family will hold onto the beautiful memories they created together, honoring her spirit in their daily lives. She will be deeply missed but forever celebrated in the hearts of those who loved her.
