Joyce Ann Coots, daughter of the late Milburn Cornett and Laucressia (Smith) Cornett was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on January 04, 1948. She was united in marriage to Arnold Coots who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children; Arnold Glen Coots, Leslie Coots and wife Charlotte, Victoria Couch and husband Chet all of Corbin, Kentucky, Sandra Coots, Karen Coots, Harlan Coots, Melissa Falconberry and husband Richard all of London, Kentucky, and Melvin Coots and wife Christa of Williamsburg, Kentucky, by her siblings;Harlan Cornett of Hazard, Kentucky, Janice Merle, Roger Cornett and wife Debbie, and Janet Baker and husband David all of London, Kentucky.

She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. 

Joyce Ann Coots departed this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020 being 72 years, 8 months, and 22 days of age. 

Funeral Services for Joyce Ann Coots will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday in Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Clayton Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Coots Cemetery in Yeaddis, Kentucky, under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

The family of Joyce Ann (Cornett) Coots will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 AM Wednesday until the funeral hour.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
