Joe Joseph Adams

Joe Joseph Adams passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at the Well's Hospice Center in Hazard Kentucky. He was 80 years old. Joe was born in Leslie County Kentucky the son of the late, Gordon Adams and Eunice Joseph Adams, Joe was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a coal miner for 26 years. Joe was a hard worker & great provider for his family. He was a member of the Old Primitive Baptist Church in Letcher County. His favorite hobbies including gardening, yard work, getting firewood, being outdoors and watching wrestling. 

Joe is preceded in death by his beloved parents, his loving and devoted wife, Anita Turner Adams and a cherished son, Kenny Adams. He leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished son, Ronnie Adams & wife, Paula, siblings, Jules Adams, Roger Adams, Robert Adams, Russell Adams & Betty Sue Adams Estep, three treasured grandchildren, Brandon Adams, Derek Adams & Wyatt Adams, three step-grandchildren, Kristin Beaver, Collin Baker and Holden Baker, four treasured great grandchildren, special friends and family, Roger Wells, Greg Adams, Odell Coots, Eugene Joseph, Jim Casper, Phillip Kilburn, Boone Jr. Vernon, Chuck Coots and Jeff Cress and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Minister: Glenn Cornett

Interment: Kenny Adams Cemetery, Wooton, Kentucky

Pallbearers: Brandon Adams, Derek Adams, Collin Baker, Holden Baker, Odell Coots, Phillip Kilburn, Eugene Joseph and Jim Casper

Visitation: Monday, Nov. 2, 2026 at 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
