Jessie Rose Asher Bowling

Mrs. Jessie Rose Asher Bowling, born November 21, 1942 in Leslie County Kentucky, the daughter of Marie Hensley Asher & the late Willie Asher. Jessie passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. Jessie had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. By occupation she was a cook at the Appalachian Motel in Hyden. Jessie was affliated with the Wooton Presbyterian EPC at Wooton, Kentucky. She enjoyed interior decorating, home improvements and spending time with her family.

Jessie was preceded in death by her beloved father, loving & devoted husband, Ewing Bowling and brother-in-law, Don Morgan. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved mother, Marie Hensley Asher, Hyden, KY, one cherished son, Wendall Asher, Hyden, KY, two brothers, Robert Asher & Jennifer, Hyden, KY and Willie Dale Asher & Teresa, Hyden, KY, one sister, Eula Morgan, Pulaski Co., KY & a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Services:

Funeral: Thursday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Merle Caudill & Greg Whitaker

Interment: Bowling-Couch Cemetery, (Dill Branch Road) Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, January 5, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
