Jesse Joseph born August 24, 1965 departed this earthly life on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 54-years old. Jesse was born in Hazard, Kentucky and was preceded in death by his Father, Bill Joseph and his Maternal Grandparents, Matthew & Mallie Wells and Paternal Grandparents, Alfred Joseph, Jr. & Dora.

Jesse was a member of the 11th Hour Worship Center of Hazard, KY. He was a retired coal miner having worked in the positions of supervisor, safety director, instructor and underground train operator. Jesse was the pastor of the Sawbranch Pentecostal Church for 12 years. He loved studying the Bible and reading scripture. Jesse also enjoyed fishing and flying remote control airplanes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. He brought joy to all around him with his love for life.  

Jesse Joseph leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Mother: June Joseph of Wooton; Beloved Wife: Valerie Melton Joseph of Hazard; Son, Matthew Joseph & Katie of Georgetown; Step Son: Chris Melton & Alicia of Cincinnati, OH; Step Daughter: Kayla Creech & Lavon of Cincinnati, OH; Brother: Bill Joseph, Jr. & Jenni of Morehead; Sisters: Barbara Smith of Wooton, Mallie Pennington & Jimmy of Wooton, Nancy Roberts of Hyden, & Dora Joseph of Wooton; Grandchild: Eliza June Joseph; Nieces: Tina Baker & Mark, Chasity Taylor & Cory, Billie Sue Bowling & Wayne Ed; Great Nieces: Madison Lewis, Haley Bowling & Tayla Lewis; Great Nephews: Kage Baker & Drew Bowling; Best Friends: Ronnie Wells & Bill Deaton

Funeral Services for Jesse Joseph will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Terry Joseph & Ronnie Wells officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M.
