Jennifer Jean Roberts Morgan

Mrs. Jennifer Jean Roberts Morgan passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Essie, KY. She was 85 years old. Jennifer was born March 2, 1938 at Elisha's Creek in Leslie County, KY., the daughter of the late, Bradley Roberts and the late, Rhoda Holland Roberts. Jennifer had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 52 years prior to living in Ohio. She was co-owner & operator of her family business-Al's Discount which opened in 1969. Jennifer enjoyed gardening, flower gardening, yard work, cooking & especially spending time with her family. Jennifer was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Jennifer Jean Roberts Morgan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Alvin "Al" Morgan, one cherished son, Ricky Morgan, four special brothers, Gillas Roberts, Ott Roberts, Baxter Roberts and Cephas Roberts, three special sisters, Maultie Roark, Preshia "Pat" Roark and Cleoria Roberts.  She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished son, Roger Alvin Morgan (Candiss), Essie, KY, one cherished daughter, Brenda Peters (Clement), Essie, KY, one treasured granddaughter, Angel Lewis (Scott), three treasured great-grandchildren, Tayton Lewis (Brittany), Lyndsie Lewis and Ryder Lewis, special nieces, Sandra Pugh, Norma Allen, Kathleen Roberts and Sue Hous and special friend & caregiver, Nancy Couch (Rick). Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Services:

Funeral: Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Patrick Morgan & Rev. John Pugh & Eulogy: Bearl Morgan

Interment: Albert Morgan Cemetery, Essie, KY.

Visitation: Friday, March 24, 2023 at 6:00-10:00 P.M. at the Church
