Hurl "Dude" Napier

Hurl "Dude" Napier of Hyden, Ky. passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. at the age of 74. Hurl was born January 14, 1945 in Leslie Co., KY. the son of the late, Edward Hurl Napier & Mary Roberts Napier. He had been a life-long resident of Hyden, KY. By occupation Hurl was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed coon hunting, gardening, 4-wheeling & spending time with his family.

Hurl was preceded in death by his parents, fiance' Geraldine Hoskins, half brother, Ricky Spears & sister, Irene Brock. He leaves the following relatives surviving, son, Pearl Edward Napier, daughters, Barbara Asher & Cynthia Devon Osborne, brothers, James Napier, Hyden, KY., Ralph Napier & Annette, Hyden, KY., Eugene Napier & Debbie, Greenwood, Ind. & Lester Napier, Hyden, KY., sisters, Geneva Hobbs, Manchester, KY. & Nancy Moore & Dale, Hyden, KY., half-sisters, Loma K. Rogers, Knoxville, TN. & Lisa Morgan & Curtis, Hyden, KY. & 7 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, March 15, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Keith Bowling

Interment: Napier Cemetery, (Rockhouse Creek Road), Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Friday, March 15, 2019 @ 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral at the Funeral Home
