Jason Haze Bueter, a dedicated restaurant cook, passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 45 in Riverdale, Georgia. Born on December 24, 1977, in Hyden, Kentucky, Jason lived a life filled with passion and love for his family and interests.
Jason's career as a restaurant cook allowed him to showcase his culinary skills and bring joy to those who dined at the establishments he worked at. His dedication to his craft was appreciated by both colleagues and customers alike. Jason's commitment to cooking served as an inspiration to many in the industry.
Outside of work, Jason had a range of hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy. He had a deep passion for fishing, especially deep-sea fishing, which allowed him to connect with nature and find peace on the open water. In addition to fishing, he enjoyed restoring cars and motorcycles, using his creativity and skills to turn old vehicles into works of beauty and craftsmanship. However, above all else, Jason cherished spending time with his family. The love and support he shared with them were unparalleled.
Jason leaves behind a cherished circle of loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts. He is survived by his loving mother Martha Alene Asher of Newnan, Georgia; one brother Johnathan Daniel Bueter (Teresa) of Kingsland, Georgia; two sisters Patricia Lois Arnold (Bryant) of Newnan, Georgia and Martha Christine McKinney (B.D.) of Jonesboro, Georgia. He is also survived by step-children, grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews whose lives were touched by his kindness.
Jason was preceded in death by his nephew Christopher Gage McKinzie and great-nephew Sawyer Gage McKinzie.

A visitation service will be held on December 10th, 2023, at Walker Funeral Homes, LLC located at 155 Hickory Street, Hyden, Kentucky. The visitation will start at 12:00 PM and proceed to the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Following the funeral service, a final farewell will be given to Jason at the Joe and Daisy Roberts Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The following will serve as Jason's pallbearers: Jonathan Bueter, Luther "Butch" Arp II, Bryant Arnold, B.D. McKinney, Michal Chastain, Jacob Thomas and Jerry Asher.
