James "Jimbo" Edward Sawyers

James “Jimbo” Edward Sawyers, 59, of Fisherville, KY passed on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Baptist Health Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles Sawyers Jr.

He leaves behind his mother Louise Sawyers; his children Kameron Orms, David Sawyers, and Kelsey Sawyers; sister Theresa Johnson (Jon); brother Charles Sawyers III (Debby); and 6 grandchildren.

Jimbo was well-known and liked in the J-Town area. He enjoyed going to car shows and always found a friend everywhere he went, no matter the distance.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 3-8 pm at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd.

Additionally, visitation will be on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at Dwayne Walker Funeral Home 155 Hickory Street, Hyden, KY.

The funeral will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Burial will follow at the Roberts Cemetery, (Short Creek Road) Hyden, KY.
