Jack Conley Morgan, a dedicated member of his community and a hardworking industrious individual, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at his home in Hoskinston, Kentucky. He was 74 years old. Jack was born on July 20, 1951, in Hoskinston, Ky., the son of the late Sam and Ethel Morgan.   Jack lived a life characterized by a strong work ethic and commitment to family and friends.

Throughout his career, Jack made significant contributions to the local economy as a former coal mine owner and operator, as well as the owner and operator of Mountain Logging and J & C Service Station. His determination and industrious nature were evident in all he pursued, and he always found ways to keep himself busy, exemplifying the value of hard work. Education was essential to Jack, who attended Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky after graduating from Leslie County High School. He believed in the importance of education and often encouraged others in his community to strive for their goals.

Jack was not only a man of industry but also a man of compassion. He believed deeply in helping others and making a positive impact within his community, a principle that defined his character and fostered a strong network of friends and family. Jack's genuine concern & dedication to all the citizens of Leslie County was exemplified by his founding & daily operation of "Hope In The Hills". - a cause Jack passionately believed in and held dear to his heart. This organization provided free food to thousands of Leslie Countians including food deprived children.Jack supported "Hope In The Hills' financially however his greatest generosity was with his time. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones, especially his children and grandchildren, and he found joy in shared experiences. In addition to his professional endeavors, Jack enjoyed personal interests that included hunting and four-wheeling. These hobbies allowed him to embrace the beauty of the outdoors and find relaxation amidst his busy life.

Jack's legacy continues through his family. He is survived by the mother of his children, Sandra Duff Morgan of Hoskinston, KY; two loving daughters, Jackie Morgan Johnson and her husband Jeff of Hoskinston, KY, and Andrea Begley and her husband, Tate of Hyden, KY; two treasured sisters, Judy Rose Saylor of Hoskinston, KY, and Carmolitta Pace and Rev. Johnny Pace of Hoskinston, KY; and five cherished grandchildren, Jared Johnson, Josh Johnson, Jaelyn Johnson, Tatum Begley, and Will Begley. beloved nieces and nephews: Marian Greenawalt, Sam Coy, Duane Coy, James Saylor, John Douglas Pace, John Duff, Kacey Duff, LeighAnna Duff, Marc Duff & a host of great nieces, nephews & other treasured relatives and friends also remain to honor his memory.Jack is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sam and Ethel Morgan, and siblings Carolene Coy and her husband Herman, J.B. Morgan and his wife Shirley, along with his brother-in-law: James Saylor.

A lifelong resident of Leslie County, Jack was a dedicated member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church and the New Hope Community Church, where he attended and contributed to the spiritual growth of his community.Jack Conley Morgan leaves behind a rich legacy of love and service, embodying the principles of hard work, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral services for Mr. Jack Conley Morgan will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. -Tuesday- December 23, 2025 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Bowling, Jr. officiating & Marcus Duff will be reading the obituary.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday- December 23, 2025 at the funeral home chapel until funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery located at Hoskinston, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Tate Begley, Jeff Johnson, Jared Johnson, Josh Johnson, Will Begley, John Douglas Pace, Sam Coy, Duane Coy, Scott Greenawalt, James Douglas Couch and R.C. Hoskins. Honorary pallbearers will be : James Saylor, Cecil Hoskins, Johnny Ray Johnson, and Wiley Collett  The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to " Hope In The Hills". P.O.
