Isaac Holland

Isaac Holland of Roark, KY. passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 72. Isaac was born November 27, 1946 in Leslie Co., KY., the son of the late, Edd Holland & Nancy Collett Holland. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Isaac was a retired coal miner from Shamrock Coal Co. He was a member of the Bowen's Creek United Baptist Church at Essie, KY. Isaac enjoyed watching Kentucky basketball, turkey hunting, going to Church & especially spending time with his family.

Isaac was preceded in death by his beloved parents, brothers, Curt Holland, John Henry Holland, P.J. Holland, Forster Holland & Gilbert Holland & sister, Nellie Holland Nolan & husband, John. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Ruth Bailey Holland of Roark, KY., 1 beloved daughter Kim Asher & husband, Jerry of Roark, KY., 1 treasured grandson, Isaac Byron Holland & wife, Latrisha of Manchester, KY., 1 treasured great-granddaughter, Leah Henson, 2 brothers, Ken Holland & Etta of London, KY. & Lonnie Holland & Dora Jean of Big Creek, KY., 1 sister, Tammie Holland of Greensburg, KY., special nephew, Ronnie Holland & special friend, Larry Jackson. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, March 14, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Bowen's Creek United Baptist Church at Essie, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Carl Brown, Rev. Taylor Adams, Rev. James Bowling, Jr. & Don Henson

Interment: Bowen's Creek Cemetery at Essie, KY.
