Howard Lewis

Mr. Howard Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, born Jan. 20, 1957 departed this life on Dec. 30, 2020 at the age of 63. He was born at Yeaddiss, KY the son of the late Henderson Lewis and the late Jeanetta Adams Lewis. By occupation he was a strip miner and logger and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He was affiliated with the Cutshin Bible church. Howard was fun loving and always knew how to make his family and friends laugh and smile. He lived his life to the fullest, and never let the challenges he faced limit his abilities to do what he wanted to do. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors. he liked hunting and he especially enjoyed spending time at the lake boating and fishing. Howard leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife: Joyce Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, his beloved stepdaughter: Misty, two brothers: David Lewis and wife Sandy and Daniel Lewis and wife Teresa all of Yeaddiss, KY, five sisters: Larnie Lewis of Viper, KY, Linda Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Brenda Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Loretta Burkhart and husband David of Harlan, KY, and Rebecca Lewis of Stinnett, KY.  He is also survived by his nephews: Billy, Tommy, Ricky Alan, Adam, Brandon, Jacob, William Jorge and Ming and his nieces: Sherry, Michele, Jessica, Hannah and Eden all of whom he adored.
