Hershel Dean Asher born November 12, 1964 in Hyden, KY., the son of Fannie Mae Sizemore Asher & the late Hershel Asher. Dean passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the age of 55. Dean had been a life-long resident of Hyden, KY. By occupation he was a retired coal miner for Blue Diamond Coal Co. Dean was a devoted member of the Anna C. Brush Memorial United Presbyterian Church at Dryhill, KY. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, going to the beach & especially loved spending time with his family.
Hershel Dean Asher was preceded in death by his loving father, Hershel Asher, loving & devoted wife, Jan Morgan Asher, paternal grandparents, Caleb & Susie Asher, maternal grandparents, Keen & Madge Sizemore & a double first cousin, Thomas Asher. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving & devoted mother, Fannie Mae Sizemore Asher, Hyden, KY., beloved daughter, Ashley Nicole Asher Hacker & husband Andrew, Essie, KY., 3 sisters, Tronda Napier & husband, Marshall, Hyden, KY., Sandra Lewis & husband, Randy, Hyden, KY. & Reba Hoskins & husband, Homer, Burnside, KY., 1 niece & 4 nephews, Samantha James, Dustin Asher, Lee Lewis, Cody Hoskins & Kyle Lewis. Also a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.
