Mrs. Hazel Osborne Caldwell born January 1, 1929 departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehab Facility, Somerset, Kentucky. She was 90 years old. Hazel was born at Bowen's Creek in Leslie Co., the daughter of the late Wiley Osborne & Bertha Napier. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker & life-long resident of Leslie & Clay County,. Hazel enjoyed gardening, quilting and going to Senior Citizens. Hazel's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband; Millard Caldwell, two brothers; twin brother, Park Osborne, & Boyd Osborne, two sisters; Ida Caldwell & Linda Collett, brothers-in-law; Corbin Caldwell & Rev. Sheldon Collett & sisters-in-law; Lola Osborne & Thelma Osborne. Mrs. Hazel Osborne Caldwell leaves the following relatives surviving; one beloved son; Alvin Caldwell & Linda of Somerset, Ky., eight beloved daughters; Freda Sandlin of Somerset, Ky., Francis Bryant & Johnny of Winchester, Ky., Edith James & O.C. of Shelbyville, Ky., Mavis Caldwell & Jeff of Somerset, Ky., Carolyn Bryant & Roger of Somerset, Ky., Marilyn Mink of Somerset, Ky., Maxine Holland & Jeff of Somerset, Ky., Melody Joseph & Rick of Yeaddiss, Ky., one brother; Edmond Osborne of Essie, Ky., one sister; Vina Osborne Roark & Edsal of Beverly, KY, one brother-in-law; Kenneth Collett of Dry Ridge, Ky., 10 treasured grandchildren & a host of treasured great, grandchildren & other relatives and friends.
