Gracie Morgan Sparks, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away on June 16, 2025, at Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. She was 68 years old. Born on February 6, 1957, in Hyden, Kentucky, Gracie was known for her vibrant personality and loving nature.

Throughout her life, Gracie was a devoted homemaker who brought joy to those around her. A true prankster and jokester, she had the incredible ability to make people laugh, leaving behind cherished memories of her hilarious antics and infectious laughter. Whether she was enjoying a classic episode of Gunsmoke or watching "The Price Is Right," Gracie found happiness in simple pleasures, often sharing delightful trips to Dairy Queen with those she loved. Gracie was deeply rooted in her faith and was a member of the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church. 

Gracie leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Sparks; her sons, Shane Morgan, Shawn Morgan and his wife, Latosha, and John Sparks and his wife, Tabitha; twin brothers, Freddie Morgan and his wife, Diana, and Eddie Morgan and his wife, Daisy; and her grandson, David Morgan, step-grandchildren, LaMeka, Macey, and Kandon. Her sister-in-law, Vanessa Morgan, brother-in-law, Joe Morgan along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as her special friend, Pharmacist Doug Morgan, and a multitude of cousins, will also remember her warmth and humor.

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Morgan and Carolyn Roark Morgan; her granddaughter, Tiffany; her great-grandsons, Kyson and Easton; and her siblings, Alma Morgan Roberts and her husband Brown, Mary Morgan, Charles Morgan, and Billy Richard Morgan.

Gracie Morgan Sparks will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched and the memories she created.

Funeral: Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Ted Couch and Andrew Farmer

Interment: Morgan Family Cemetery, (Laurel Fork Lane), Hyden, KY.

Pallbearers: Dusty Sparks, Dakota Madden, Alan Dodson, David Morgan, Kandon Davis, Parker Sizemore, Dylan Jones and Derrick Hull

Visitation: Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church
