Grace Farley Morgan

Mrs. Grace Farley Morgan born September 20, 1931 at Hoskinston, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, William Hence Farley and the late, Fannie Pennington Farley. She passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Harlan ARH Hospital in Harlan, KY. Grace was 90 years old. She had been a life long resident of Leslie County.  She  had been employed as a waitress at Reed's Restaurant, and a clerk for Elam's Dept. Store and Foxy Fashion's Clothing Store. Grace was of the Pentecost Faith. She enjoyed quilting, canning and cooking and especially loved spending time with her family.

Grace was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William Hence and Fannie Pennington Farley, her loving and devoted husband, Malcom "Toby" Morgan, one special brother, Albert Farley, two special sisters, Faye Causey and Mae Farley, five treasured nephews, Jamie Causey, William Hennison Farley, Donnie Farley, Charles Farley and Kevin Farley and one treasured niece, Regina Causey. She leaves the following relatives surviving; treasured nieces and caretakers, Sheila Smith, Middlesboro, KY, Sandra Sizemore, Harlan, KY and Rita Hamlin, Cumberland, KY, treasured nieces, Marcella Bowling and Linda Bradley, treasured nephew and his wife, Harold Farley and Irene Farley and a host of treasured great nieces and nephews.

The following was a post made by Grace's niece, which summarized Grace's life and her faith.  "Grace was carried away to heaven by her angels last night. Who was a faithful servant till the end. Shining a light for all those around her who even as a child cried if she was hindered and not able to go to church to be in the house of the Lord. Who never lost her zeal to serve you and loved the word of God and kept your commandments. Who is now no longer sick in pain or in and out of hospitals or suffering. But has gone home to be with Jesus and all her loved ones."

Graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 10, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Farley Family Cemetery at Hoskinston, Kentucky with Rev. Patrick Morgan officiating.

Pallbearers: Dr. Bobby Smith, Kenny Fields, Nathan Howard, Alex Howard, Cameron Howard, Brady Fields and Drew Fields

Visitation: Friday, June 10th at 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY
