Glen Mills

Mr. Glen Mills, born June 16, 1950 in Hyden, KY. the son of the late, Edward Mills & Christine Bingham Mills. He passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021 at his residence. Glen was 71 years old. Glen had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a retired equipment operator for the Leslie County Road Dept. He was of the Baptist Faith. Glen enjoyed gardening, wood-working, painting, mechanics, UK Basketball, Dirt track racing, animals, being outside & especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Glen was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward & Christine Mills, loving & devoted wife, Marilyn Napier Mills, 2 sisters, Helen Couch and Lily Mae Bundy and 3 brothers, Carl, Parker, and Eddie Mills. He leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 cherished daughters, Crystal Melton & husband, Ronnie, Wooton, KY. and Cheryl Asher & husband, Jeremy, Hyden, KY., 2 brothers, Eugene Mills & wife, Cassie, Saul, KY. and Randall Mills & wife, Bonnie, London, KY.,  sister, Peggy Howard & husband, Alonzo, Hyden, KY., sister-in-law, Joyce Mills, Manchester, KY. and 4 treasured grandchildren, Hannah Baker & husband, Caleb, Leah Melton & fiance', Preston Spurlock, Dawson Sizemore and Carter Asher. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Graveside Service, Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mills Family Cemetery, (Short Creek Road), Hyden, KY.

with visitation at the gravesite at 12:00 Noon.
