Glenda Sue Couch

Mrs. Glenda Sue Couch born March 27, 1943 departed this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. Glenda was born in Perry Co., Ky., the daughter of the late, Doye Napier & Mildred B. Sparks Napier & her foster parents; Nancy Ann & Bradley Hoskins. Glenda had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was a registered nurse for the Mary Breckinridge Hospital for 25 years & Clay Co. Home-Health for 17 years. She was a faithful member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Stinnett, KY. Glenda enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, quilting, reading on her kindle, gardening & flower gardening & especially spending time with her family.

Glenda was preceded in death by parents, foster parents, 1st husband, Senior Estep, treasured grandson, William Chesare Feltner, sister, Beulah Faye Napier, father & mother-in-law, Frank "Pistle" & Ophia Couch & brother-in-laws, Logan Couch & John Sparks. She leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted husband, LeRoy Couch of Hyden, KY., 2 beloved sons, Bradley Estep & Evelyn of Clay County, Ky. & James Estep & Kim of Hazard, KY., 3 beloved daughters, Deidre "Dee Dee" Pennington & Kenneth of Hoskinston, KY., Lonzie Estep of Winter Haven, FL. & Delilah Feltner & William of Hyden, KY., 1 step-son, Dr. Douglas Couch of Corbin, KY., 1 step-daughter, Linda "Cookie" Couch of Lily, KY., 1 sister, Peggy Wooton of Breathitt Co., KY., brother-in-law, Leslie Couch, sister-in-laws, Beulah Sparks and Kathy Couch. 10 treasured grandchildren, Brandy Hoskins, Nikki Estep, Chelsea Bailey, Bobby Cook, Joseph Morgan, Wanona Rice, Jacob Pennington, Andrew Feltner, Logan Smith & Tommy Patrick & 12 treasured great-grandchildren & 1 to be born. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, August 3, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY.

Interment: Frank & Ophia Couch Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY.
