George Garrath "Gary" Helton

George Garrath "Gary" Helton, born August 3, 1962 in Hyden, KY., the son of Melvin Keith Helton and Irene Hall Townley. He passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his residence. He was 59 years old. Gary had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed ATV riding, drawing, hiking, horseback riding, loved animals and being outdoors.

Gary was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Sue Young. He leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved father, Melvin Keith Helton, Hyden, KY., beloved mother & step-father, Irene, Warbranch, KY. & Robert Lynn Townley, brother, Dwayne Keith Helton, Warbranch, KY., sisters, Elizabeth Gene Holland, Essie, KY. and Claudia Christine Townley, Louisville, KY.

The family will have a memorial service Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at 4350 Middlefork Road, Warbranch, KY. 40874
