Freda Colwell

Freda Colwell passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center at the age of 69. Freda was born September 12, 1949 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Orville Huff & Ophia Stidham Huff. Freda had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She enjoyed watching T.V., being outdoors & spending time with her family.

Freda was preceded in death by her parents, her loving & devoted husband, Elihu Colwell Jr., beloved son, Raymond Colwell, Jr. & brother, Kelly Huff. She leaves the following relatives surviving, sons, Freddie Lee Colwell of Hyden, KY. & David Colwell of Busy, KY., daughter, Lila Couch of Hyden, KY., brothers, Fred Huff & Caroline of Hazard, KY. & Herman Huff of Hazard, KY., sisters, Mary Huff of Hazard, KY., Priscilla Huff of Hazard, KY. & Gladys Huff of Hazard, KY. & treasured grandchildren, Elijah Noah Couch & Kimberly Sparks. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, May 30, 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Geoffery Roberts

Interment: Colwell Family Cemetery, Busy, KY.

Visitation: Thursday, May 30th @ 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
