Faye Baker

Faye Hensley Baker born January 3, 1932 departed this life Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 87 years old.  Faye was born in Hyden, Ky., the daughter of the late Mark Hensley & Lucy Bentley.  Faye was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker.  She was a member of the Polls Creek Church of Christ, Smilax. Ky & a life-long resident of Leslie Co.,  Faye enjoyed cooking & flower gardening, however her greatest joy came from spending time with her children & grandchildren.  Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her cherished husband, Corbin Baker, two beloved sons; Corbin Baker, Jr., Ricky Lee Baker, one brother; Johnny Bentley, & son-in-law; Dan McDaniel.  Mrs. Faye Hensley Baker leaves the following relatives surviving: two beloved sons;Paul E. Baker & wife, Arlene of Wooton, Ky., David Wayne Baker & wife, Ruby of Wooton, Ky., one beloved daughter; Gail McDaniel of Wooton, Ky., nine treasured grandchildren; Bracky Fugate & Miranda, William Fugate & Jamie, Kim Cornett & Dale, David Fugate, Dusty Baker & Ashley, April Dixon & Scott, Timothy Baker & Maddie, Holly Withrow & Anthony, Leeann Simpson & George, nine treasured great-grandchildren; Tyler, Brandon, Hayden, Raygen, Keira, Eden, J.P., Sophia, Lauren, Laura Jane & one on the way; Addelyn, ten sisters; three brothers; 3 special sisters; Betty Napier, Audrey Watts, Barbara Sams & one special brother; Billy Turner & a host of other relatives and friends.
