Fannie Mae Caldwell Lewis Helton, 88, of Crab Orchard, Ky formerly of Leslie County, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 4th at the University of Kentucky Hospital in the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. Fannie was born in Chappell Community of Leslie County, Ky on January 1, 1931, a daughter of the late Lottie (Cornett) and John Caldwell. She was the widow of Orie Lewis and Jack Helton. She was faithful member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ as she loved to read and study the Word of God found within the Holy Scriptures of the Bible. She was blessed to have able to read the Bible to its entirety eighteen times and had made it into the book of Leviticus. Fannie was a loving mother and grandmother who loved quilting, gardening and enjoyed the simple and amazing beauty of God's creation and nature. She truly enjoyed riding the backroads and seeing the countryside.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by One Son, Paul Wayne Russell and two brothers, Elmer and Homer "Shorty" Caldwell

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel, Crab Orchard, Kentucky with Bro. Thaddeus Eubank officiating.
Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2019 from 10:30 until 11 AM Funeral Service time at the funeral home.
Graveside burial will be in the Caldwell Cemetery in Leslie County, Ky with gravesite services being conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral home of Hyden, Ky
