THE OBITUARY OF MRS. EVELYN WASHBURN FRANCIS

       Mrs. Evelyn Washburn Francis born February 21, 1952 departed this life on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 67 years old.  Evelyn was born in Leslie Co., the daughter of the late John Henry Washburn & Vina Morgan Washburn.  Evelyn was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & homemaker.  She enjoyed ATV riding, gardening, being outdoors & model car building.  Evelyn's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.  Mrs. Evelyn Washburn Francis was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; Clayton Washburn & Charlie Washburn.  Mrs. Evelyn Washburn leaves the following relatives surviving; loving and devoted husband; Paul Francis of Lost Creek, Ky., three beloved sons; Paul Francis Jr. & wife, Stephanie of Richmond, Ky., Johnny Francis of Berea, Ky., Ricky Francis & Teresa Losito of Lost Creek, Ky., one brother; Tolman Washburn & wife, Margie, of Covington, Ky., three sisters; Audrey Jean Dixon & husband, Nesby of Fairfield, Ohio, Mary Rose Morgan of Tell City, Indiana, Verena Cwik (Evelyn's twin sister) of Stinnett, Ky., treasured grandson; Michael Tyler Francis, special niece; Carolyn Burns & a host of other relatives and friends. 

TIME AND PLACE OF FUNERAL: 2:00 p.m.- Tuesday - March 5, 2019 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, Ky
