Eugene Feltner

Mr. Eugene Feltner, born May 19, 1943 in Hyden, Kentucky. Eugene is the son of the late, Barlow Feltner and Ethel Mae Causey Feltner. He passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital of London in London Kentucky on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Eugene was 83  years old. Eugene had been a life-long resident of Hyden with the exception of living at Keavy for the past 4 1/2 years. By occupation he was a coal miner. Eugene was a faithful member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ in Hyden and also at the Flat Woods Church of Christ in Corbin. Eugene enjoyed gardening, going to Church and spending time with his family.

Eugene is preceded in death by his beloved parents, special sister, Bonnie Jean Lewis and special brothers, Eddie Bruce and James Feltner. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted wife of 60 1/2 years, Rosetta Lewis Feltner,  cherished daughters, Margie Karr (Brian) and Rebecca Asher (Ron), treasured grandchildren, Jessica Howard, Derek Howard and Amanda Asher (Alex), seven treasured great grandchildren and two treasured great-great grandchildren, special brother, Glen Feltner (Geneva), special sister, Joanne Feltner Johnson, sister-in-law, Shirley Feltner, a host of treasured nieces and nephews, special friends, Willie & Effie Feltner.

Funeral: Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home

Ministers: Keith Bowling and Roger Bowling

Interment: Asher-Feltner Family Cemetery, Keavy, Kentucky

Pallbearers: Ron Asher, Brian Karr, Derek Howard, Tyler Howard, Tanner Watson and Alex Smith

Visitation: Friday, October 30, 2026 at 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
