Elsie North

Elsie North, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 in Lexington, KY. at the age of 95. She was born March 11, 1924 in Leslie Co., KY. the daughter of the late, Bige Hoskins & Maudie Smith Hoskins. Elsie was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking, canning & music & especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Elsie was preceded in death by, parents, sister, Carol Hoskins Griffith & brothers, Flym, Rufs, Theodore & Cecil Hoskins. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved daughters, Joanna Smith & Edgar of Georgetown, KY., Rosetta Howard & Wayne of Asher, KY., Brenda Rice & Barry of Crab Orchard, KY. & Chesna Gross & Kent of Hazard, KY., sister, Patsy Morgan of Lexington, KY., 5 treasured grandchildren, Darin Wayne Howard, Brandon Howard, Jessica True, Natalie Gross & Barry Rice & 8 treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 14, 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Graylon Short

Interment: Hoskins Family Cemetery, Hoskinston, KY.
