Earl Watkins

Earl Watkins born, July 30, 1950 at Confluence, KY the son of the late, John Watkins & Mae Fields Watkins. He passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at his residence. Earl was 71 years old. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Earl was a former employee for the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home. He enjoyed fishing, bicycle riding, collecting knives & watching basketball & nascar.

Earl was preceded in death by his beloved parents & one brother, David Watkins. He leaves the following relatives surviving: two brothers, Willie Watkins & Linda, Richmond, KY and Daniel Watkins & Linda, Mt. Sterling, KY two sisters, Marlene White, Wooton, KY and Carolyn Maggard & Ronnie, Wooton, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Robbie Horton

Interment: John Watkins Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY

Pallbearers: Ronnie Aaron Maggard, Dorian Wheat, Cody Hacker, Gardener Turner, Ryan Bray & Delano Huff

Visitation: Friday, January 21st at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
