Douglas Dwayne Hensley

Douglas Dwayne Hensley, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 49. Doug was born August 4, 1970 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Astor Hensley & Bessie Causey Hensley. Doug had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a security guard for Pike Electric. He was affliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY. Doug enjoyed writing, was an avid star wars & science-fiction collector & enjoyed spending time with his family.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kenny Hensley & nephew, Jerry Hensley, Jr. He is survived by three brothers, Johnny Hensley & wife, Trina of Wooton, KY.,  Jerry Hensley of Wooton, KY. & Randy Vanover of Wooton, KY., four nieces, Teresa Mays, Ginger Williams, Melissa Napier & husband, Shannon & Brittany Wilder & husband, John, three great nieces, Haley Royster, Kylie Hensley & Mia Wilder & two great nephews, Aiden Napier & Logan Napier.  Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
