Donald Shayne Hoskins

Donald Shayne Hoskins passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his residence in the Stinnett community of Leslie county. He was 47 years old. Shayne was born January 26, 1974 in Beverly, KY., the son Rosetta Asher Hoskins Couch and the late Eldon "Jack" Hoskins. Shayne was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ.  He was employed as a Construction and Railroad worker. Shayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, camping, playing music and video games, and especially spending time with his family.

Shayne was preceded in death by his father,  Eldon "Jack" Hoskins, one sister Nancy Sharon Hoskins, Paternal Grandparents Charlie and Nancy Hoskins, Maternal Grandparents Henry and Carrie Asher and a special cousin Jonathon Hoskins. Shayne leaves the following relatives surviving loving and devoted mother Rosetta Asher Hoskins Couch & husband, Vernon, of Stinnett, KY., three beloved sons; Eldon Hoskins of Hyden, Ky., Jonathon Hoskins of Stinnett, KY., and Waylon Nantz of Big Laurel, KY. Four cherished daughters Tiffany Hoelscher and Joshua of Bradford, OH., Olivia Nantz, Lilly Nantz and Alleigha Nantz all of Big Laurel, KY. three sisters; Melanie Henson of Stinnett, KY., Cynthia Begley of London, Ky., Debra Sutton and husband, Scott of Stinnett, Ky.,  and one treasured Granddaughter Emmalena Hoelscher. VISITATION: 12:00 P.M.- Saturday May 29, 2021 until the Funeral Hour at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Church of Christ, Stinnett, KY. 

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Hoskins Family Cemetery, Abcove Hollow, Stinnett, KY.

PALLBEARERS: Jonathon Hoskins, Eldon Hoskins, Daniel Hoskins, David Hoskins, Clinton Napier, Ken Morgan, and Chris Hatton.
