RINKER, DEBRA – Of Burton, age 67, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Mac Smith officiating.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Debra was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 8, 1956, the daughter of the late Hobert and Ella (Mosley) Morgan.

On April 22, 1983 she married David Rinker in Flint.

Debra retired in 2003 from Michigan Webb Press.

She loved going to the casino, Zumba, sewing, making quilts, playing Pictionary. She also loved riding their motorcycle with her husband.

Her biggest love was children.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, David Rinker;

nephew, son (Raised as her own, Gary Dean Begley of Richmond, Kentucky;

grandchildren, Breanna Begley, Dalton Begley, Raylene Begley and Harper Begley;

siblings, Shirley Hoskins, Evelyn (Mac) Smith, Beanna (Jack) Smith, all of Morgantown, IN and Darlene (David Vance) of Hoskinston, Kentucky;

sister-in-law, like a sister, Bonnie (Al) Robbins; a host of nephews and a niece.

She was also preceded in death by siblings, Dalton Morgan, Dean Morgan, Thadeus Morgan, Chuck Morgan, Leda Hall, Hoberta Hall, Mildred Asher and Brenda Begley.
