The obituary of Mr. David Stidham:
David Stidham born May 25, 1960 departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, Ky., at the age of 58. David was born in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Manuel Stidham & Nancy Asher Stidham. David had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a former coal miner. He was afffliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. David enjoyed fishing, hunting & spending time with his family especially his grandson, Gannon Nathan Baker.
David was preceded in death by his parents & 3 sisters, Phyllis Lewis, Reitha Maggard & Charlotte Pennington. He leaves the following relatives surviving, wife, Shelby Turner Stidham of Yeaddiss, KY., 2 sons, David "D.J." Stidham of Louisville, KY. & Joshua Logan Shepherd of Georgetown, KY., 3 daughters, Davida Stidham & Tyler Bowling of Asher, KY., Samantha Rice of Hyden, KY. & Leigh Ann Kilburn & P.J. of Georgetown, KY., 2 brothers, Zenis Stidham & Virginia of TN. & Levi Stidham & Newmora of Yeaddiss, KY., 2 grandchildren, Gannon Nathan Baker & Kayla Stidham & a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Mr. Daivd Stidham should be recognized with honor and respect, he bravely sacrificed his life attempting to save the life of Mr. Kenneth Hensley.
FUNERAL: Friday, March 1, 2019 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.

INTERMENT: Stidham Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.

VISITATION: Thursday, February 28, 2019 @ 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, KY.
