Clayton Napier

Clayton Napier, born October 26, 1955 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Raleigh Napier & Edna Napier. Clayton passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky. Clayton was 67 years old. Clayton had been a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation Clayton was a log & coal truck driver. Clayton was affiliated with the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church. Clayton enjoyed 4-wheeling, & squirrel and rabbit hunting.

Clayton was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Raleigh & Edna Napier, two uncles, Estil & Alamander Napier, two aunts, Pauline & Leona Napier, mother-in-law & father-in-law, Edith & Matt Gray, brother-in-law, Delbert Gray & sister-in-law, Joyce Hurst. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 51 years,  Della Gray Napier of Hyden, KY, two cherished sons, Steven Napier & Shannon Napier both of Hyden, KY, one special sister, Flarey Ann Napier Hensley & Elmer of Hyden, KY, three sisters-in-law, Mary Mosley & Stewart, Carolyn Wagers & Hazel Gray, two treasured grandchildren, Tyler & Baylan and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Ted Couch, Tony Couch & Chris Grissom

Interment: Clayton & Della Napier Family Cemetery, Hyden, KY

Visitation: Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 6:00-10:00 P.M. at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church
