Cinda Lewis Joseph

Mrs. Cinda Lewis Joseph born, April 6, 1938 in Leslie County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, John C. Lewis & Emily Turner Lewis. Cinda passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at her residence. She was 84 years old. Cinda had been a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation she had worked at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in the housekeeping department. Cinda was a member of the Wooton Community Church at Wooton, KY. She enjoyed going to Church, reading her Bible, working crossword puzzles, flower gardening and especially loved spending time with her family.

Cinda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John C. & Emily Turner Lewis, her loving & devoted husband, Okey Joseph, three cherished sons, Bill, Jerry & Dewey Joseph, a special daughter-in-law, Mary Joseph, four special brothers, Hurlin, Clifford, Clevon & Paul Lewis & three special sisters, Evelyn Baker, Martha Wood & Joyce Lewis. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished daughter, Sherry Jones & Jeff, Yeaddiss, KY., four treasured grandchildren, Brian Joseph, Casey Jones (MaKayla), Emily Saylor (Josh), someone who loved like a grand-daughter, Anna Marie Nance, nine treasured great-grandchildren, Zander, Rayna, Addie, Ava, Kane, Kaidison, Keighton, Kowen & Keleigh, two special brothers, Eugene Lewis & Bill Lewis (whom she loved like her own son), four special sisters, Faye Roberts, Elizabeth Roberts, Lois Brock & also best friend & special sister, Vernell Lewis & special daughter-in-laws Darlene Joseph and Vickie Joseph.  Also a host of treasured nieces & nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home,Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

Interment: Hurricane Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home Chapel
