Chloe Simpson

Chloe Simpson passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Harlan ARH Hospital. She was 80 years old. Chloe was born, January 19, 1941 at Helton, KY., the daughter of the late, Shelby Gross and Betty Collett Gross. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was a cook for the Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Calvary Holiness Church in Pineville, KY., Chloe enjoyed gardening, flower gardening, cooking, playing cornhole, going to church and especially loved spending time with her family.

Chloe was preceded in death by her beloved parents, beloved son, Larry Morgan, sisters, Hettie Brock, Mathie Hollin, Essie Nolan and Tilda Mae Gordon and treasured grandchildren, Justin Roberts, Ashton Bailey, Tanner Simpson and Grace Simpson. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved sons, Douglas Morgan, Bledsoe, KY., Ricky Simpson & Beverly, Jersey, GA., Gregory Simpson & Rhoda, Mozelle, KY. Gerney Pennington, Stinnett, KY. and Eddie Love, Richmond, KY., beloved daughter, Vickie Roberts & Howard, Bear Branch, KY., brother, Shelby Caldwell, South Carolina, sisters, Myrtle North, Nancy Bailey & Evelyn Simpson all of Chicago, IL., Bessie Caldwell, Crossville, TN. and Pliney Seymore, Florida, treasured grandchildren, Jessica Stanley, Jayme Roberts, Jennifer Smith, Jeremy Roberts, Joshua Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Heather Morgan, Sabrina Prickett, Hope McCoy, Isaac Simpson, Haley Pennington, Madison Simpson, Emma Simpson, Christopher Morgan and Chelle Jako and 26 treasured great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.  

Funeral: Friday, August 20, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Eddie King and Jonathon Prickett

Interment: Brown Cemetery, Bledsoe, KY.

Pallbearers: Grandsons

Visitation: Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
