Bruce Smallwood

Mr. Bruce Smallwood was born February 23, 1953 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late, Parilee Sizemore Gibson & Amel Smallwood. Bruce passed away Sun. Feb. 25, 2024 at the St. Joseph London Hospital, London, KY. He was 71 years old. Bruce had been  a resident of London, KY. for the past 30 plus years. He had previously lived in Ohio and Bear Branch, KY. By occupation Bruce was a truck driver. Bruce loved his work, riding motorcycles, 4-wheeling, Nascar, wood-working, his dogs and spending time with his family & friends.

Bruce is preceded in death by his beloved father, Amel Smallwood, beloved mother, Parilee Sizemore Gibson & step-father, Raymond Gibson, his cherished grandparents, brother, Bobby Smallwood and sister, Betty Wagers. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving & devoted wife, Anita Johnson Smallwood, London, KY, step-son, Jeffery Humble, Columbia, KY, sister, Billie Sizemore, Charlestown, Indiana and a host of other family & many friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minster: Doug Hornsby

Interment: Farmer Roberts Cemetery, (Ulysses Creek Road), Bear Branch, KY.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers
