Bernadine Witt

Mrs. Bernadine Hoskins Witt, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, Kentucky. She was 84 years old. Bernadine was born, January 3, 1939 at Stinnett, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Boone Hoskins & the late, Betty Brock Hoskins. Bernadine was a life long resident of Leslie County. Bernadine was a loving & devoted homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God. Bernadine enjoyed flower gardening, loved her home & especially loved spending time with her family.

Bernadine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her loving & devoted husband & soul mate, Cecil Witt, a cherished twin daughter, Henrietta Witt Morgan, a treasured grandson, Larry Dean Morgan, special brothers, John Henry Brock & Will Brock and special sister, Jean. She leaves the following relatives surviving; cherished son, Roger Witt, Hoskinston, Kentucky, cherished daughters, Rosetta Witt Callahan & Tim, Bledsoe, Kentucky, Martha K.Witt Farmer, Helton, Kentucky, Tina Witt, Hoskinston, Kentucky and Trina Michelle Witt, Stinnett, Kentucky, special sisters, Phyllis Brashear, Somerset, Kentucky, Brenda Moore, Palm Bay, Florida and Venus Alsop, Vandalia, Ohio, eight treasured grandchildren, Michael S. Howard, Rodney Lynn Howard, Brent Farmer, Brandon Farmer, Katelinde Hacker Deaton, Tristin Hacker, Charletta Morgan Kilburn and Cortney Farmer, five treasured great grandchildren &  best friends, Wanda Chappell, Hyden, Kentucky and Jacqueline Gilbert, Stinnett, Kentucky. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Minister: Rev. David Pennington

Interment: Witt Family Cemetery, Hoskinston, Kentucky

Visitation: Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky
