Anita Adams

Anita Adams passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 70. Anita was born May 25, 1949 in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, Cleve Turner & Oma Melton Turner. Anita had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was a member of the Gordon Primitive Church in Letcher Co., KY. Anita enjoyed cooking & going to family gatherings.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, one beloved son, Kenny Joe Adams, two brothers, Russell & Roger Turner & one sister, Betty Jean Turner. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband, Joe Adams of Wooton, KY.,  one beloved son, Ronnie Adams & Paula Carol Adams of Wooton, KY., daughter-in-law, Rittie Lynn Wells Adams of Wooton, KY., two brothers, Freddie Wayne Turner & Charlotte of Dayton, OH. & Granville Turner of Springfield, OH., two sisters, Christine Boggs of Hazard, KY. & Dion Banks & Charles of Delphia, KY., 3 treasured grandchildren, Brandon Kyle Adams, Derek Blake Adams & Wyatt Elmer Cole Adams & 1 treasured great-grandson, Gage Adams. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Sunday, June 9, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis, Rev. Don Kilburn & Rev. Glenn Cornett

Interment: Kenny Adams Family Cemetery, Wooton, KY.

Visitaton: Saturday, June 8, 2019 @ 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
