Amanda Marie Lewis Talley

Amanda Marie Lewis Talley, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Hyden, Kentucky. She was 46 years old. Born on April 13, 1980, Amanda was known for her friendly, outgoing, and caring nature, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.

Amanda dedicated much of her life to her family and her work as a cashier at Exxon. She was a proud high school graduate who found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching scary movies, listening to music, and cherishing moments with her children and grandchildren. Above all, Amanda’s proudest accomplishments were being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, roles she embraced wholeheartedly.

She is survived by her loving mother, Deborah Bowling Kean; her devoted husband, Louis Talley; her son, Devon Talley (Madison); her daughter, Gracie Talley; her brother, Jacob Adams (Robin); her sister, Jeanna Nantz (Josh); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Remington and Archie. Amanda is reunited in memory with her father, Paul Lewis.

A memorial service to celebrate Amanda’s life will be held on  Monday, June 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home located at 155 Hickory Street in Hyden, Kentucky. Family, friends, and all those touched by Amanda’s warmth and kindness are invited to gather and honor her memory.
