Albert E. "Shorty" Nichol, Jr.

Albert E. "Shorty" Nichol, Jr. passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020. He was 65 years old. Albert was born July 4, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late, Albert Nichol, Sr. & Mary Cantrella Nichol. Albert had been a resident of Bear Branch for the past 20 years. By occupation he was a self-employed carpenter, railroad worker & a retired security guard. Albert enjoyed mechanic work, avid musician & enjoyed spending time with his family.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, 1 beloved son, John Paul Perry & sister, Carol Nichol. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving & devoted wife, Mary Jane Perry Nichol, Bear Branch, KY., 4 beloved sons, Jeremy Lee Perry, Beverly, KY., Christopher Alan Perry & Sonya, Bear Branch, KY., Matthew Erwin Perry & Samantha, Mozelle, KY. & Nathan Nichol, TN., 1 beloved daughter, Jenny Nichol, Danville, KY., 2 brothers, Danny Nichol & Jimmy Nichol both of Michigan, 2 sisters, Sharon Nichol & Mary Ann Nichol, both of Michigan & 18 treasured grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church, Bear Branch, KY.

Ministers: Clyde Perry, Jr., Graylen Short & Charlie Collins

Interment: Nichol-Perry Family Cemetery, Bear Branch, KY.

Pallbearers: Jeremy Perry, Chris Perry, Matt Perry, Adrian Perry, Dalton Perry &  Isak Perry

Visitation: Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. & all day Friday at the Hal's Fork Pentecostal Church
