Allen Lawson

Allen Lawson passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at his residence at Big Creek, Kentucky. He was 67 years old. Allen was born March 9, 1955 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late, John Lawson and Marie Collins Lawson. He enjoyed four wheeling, squirrel hunting, digging ginseng and spending time with his family.

Allen was preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Lawson and Marie Collins Lawson, brothers, Luther Lawson, Charlie Lawson, Jimmy Lee Jones and infant brother & brother-in-law, Dillis Whitehead. He leaves the following relatives surviving; brothers, Arnold Lawson, Hyden, KY, JL Lawson, Manchester, KY & Cecil Jones, London, KY, sisters, Polly Wagner & Otis, Hoskinston, KY, Mae Bell & Jack, Monticello, KY, Patricia Whitehead, Manchester, KY, Irene Nolan & Claude, Manchester, KY, Bobbie Whitehead & Doug, Helton, KY & Janice Cromer & Tommy, Mt. Vernon, KY & a host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky

Ministers: Robert Lee Hacker, Ralph Brown & Paul Mitchell

Interment: Whitehead Cemetery, Manchester, KY.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
