Addie North

Addie North, a beloved mother and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 2, 2025, in West Carrollton, Ohio. She was 91 years old. Born on February 22, 1934, in Leslie County, Kentucky, she carried the essence of her roots throughout her vibrant life.

Addie's career as a cashier and factory worker showcased her strong work ethic and dedication. She took pride in providing for her family while embodying the spirit of perseverance and resilience that defined her character.

Outside of her professional life, Addie had a profound love for simple pleasures, which included flower gardening, reading, and cooking. These hobbies not only brought joy to her life but also allowed her to create lasting memories with her family, demonstrating her nurturing nature and the importance she placed on familial bonds.

Addie is survived by her son, Randy North; her brothers, Dan North and Elvin North; and a host of special nieces and nephews including Bobby Turner who will remember her fondly for her warmth and wisdom.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert North and Mallie Nantz North; her brothers, Billie D. North, Melvin North, Rob Simpson, and Fred North; her sisters, Virgie North Brunello, Christine Wilson, and June Hill; and a special niece, JoAnn North Simpson.

Addie's legacy will continue to live on through those who loved her dearly. A life well-lived, she touched the hearts of many and leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories.
