The obituary of Mr. Cecil Wells Officiating Minister: Rev. Danny Roberts Mr. Cecil Wells Born April 24, 1925 departed this life on September 4, 2008 at the age of 83 years,4 months and 10 days old. He was born at Jeff, Kentucky the son of the late Amy Catherine McKinney. By occupation he was a former employee of the Power Company and also was a tobacco farmer. Mr Cecil Wells was affiliated with the Armstrong World Wide Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Mr. Wells was preceded in death by his mother: Amy Catherine McKinney, he leaves surviving the following relatives: first cousin: Willis Wells and wife Lula; second cousin:Rev. Danny Roberts. Cecil is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Wells will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday - September 7, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Ira Wells Famly Cemetery located at Smilax, KY. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday - September 7, 2008 at the funeral home chapel.
