The Obituary of Mr. Earl Dean Helton Officiating Ministers: LeRoy Blackburn James Bowling, Jr. Sheldon Collett Mr. Earl Dean Helton born October 17, 1958 departed this life on February 11, 2008 at the age of 49 years, 3 months and 14 days old. He was born at Beverly, Kentucky the son of the late Earnest Helton and the late Seretta Lawson Helton. By occupation Earl was a school bus driver and was employed by the Leslie County Board of Education. Some of his hobbies that he enjoyed included knife collecting, fishing and numerous other things. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Mr. Earl D. Helton was preceded in death by his parents: Earnest & Seretta Helton, he leaves surviving the following relatives: Wife: Sharon Napier Helton of Essie, Ky. Two Sons: Earl Christopher Helton & Vicki of Essie, Ky. Elvis Shane Helton & Erica of Essie, Ky. One Brother: Rodney Darrell Helton of Bledsoe, Ky. Four Sisters: Betty Mae Helton of Stinnett, Ky. Jackie Morgan of Beverly, Ky. Charlene Wilson of Stoney Fork, Ky. Sharla Brock of Stoney Fork, Ky. Three Grandchildren: Kristine Helton, Tyler Helton & Shae Helton. Three Step-Grandchildren: Jessica Brock, Josie Brock & Audrey Brock One Step Great Grandchild: Lexie Reavis He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Earl Dean Helton will be held at 1:00 p.m. - Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Bowens Creek Baptist Church at Essie, Kentucky with LeRoy Blackburn, James Bowling, Jr. and Sheldon Collett officiating. Burial will follow in the Napier Family Cemetery located at Essie, Kentucky, under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Bowens Creek Baptist Church located at Essie, Kentucky. The following served as pallbearers: Darrell Helton, Kenneth Brock, Ernest Helton and Rodney Darrell Helton.
