Geoffery Roberts and Rev.Willard Shope Mrs. Dorothy Huff born June 17, 1918 departed this life on March 05, 2008 at her residence -9681 Hwy. # 421, Bledsoe, Ky. She was 89 years, 8 months, and 17 days old. Dorothy was born at Bledsoe, Ky., the daughter of the late James Farmer Duff and Amanda Tolliver Duff. Dorothy was a homemaker, store clerk, and enjoyed making crafts. She was a member of the Church of God & was a life-long resident of Bledsoe, Ky., living at 9681 Hwy. #421, at the time of her death. Mrs. Dorothy Huff was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Huff, parents, James Farmer Duff & Amanda Tolliver Duff, one son, Hargis Huff, great grandsons, Edwin Alexander Huff & Hargis Chandler Huff, one sister, Bertha Duff, and four brothers, Denver, Roscoe, Charlie, and Harvey Duff. Mrs. Dorothy Huff leaves the following relatives surviving: one son, Millas Huff and wife, Myra of Bonnyman, Ky., three daughters, Mary Rose McMurray and husband, Joel of Baxter, Ky., Shirley Whitehead and husband, Alonzo of Bledsoe, Ky., Dottie Hollon and husband, Rev. Matthew Hollon of Bledsoe, Ky., and one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Huff Napier and husband, Lonnie, two brothers, James Duff of London, Ky., and Shelby Duff of Lakeland, Florida, and a special thanks to hospice workers who cared for Dorothy, Mabel Webb & Amy Osborne. Ten grandchildren: John Huff and wife, Serelda, David Nolan and friend, Roberta, Beverly Simpson and husband, Rick , Paul Nolan and wife, Dinah, Tim Whitehead and wife, Angela, Terry Whitehead and friend, Debbie, Wesley Hollon, BethSheba Hollon, Wendall Huff, Douglas Huff, and wife, Deana, two step-grandchildren, Martha and Keith McMurray, nineteen great grandchildren: Kaitlan & Miranda Grace Huff, Sabrina & Jonathan Prickett, Tessa, Jaden Taylor and Justin Paul Nolan, Hope & Isaac Simpson, Bethany & Jordan Whitehead, Kyla Nicole Andrew Whitehead, Casey and Faith Huff, Shelby, Morgan & Justin Huff, Ashley Huff, three great great grandchildren: Mikey & Cota Huff & Dailee Grace Prickett, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Huff will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. - Saturday - March 08, 2008 with Rev. Geoffery Roberts and Rev. Willard Shope officiating. The interment will followin the Huff Cemetery, Bledsoe, Ky., under the direction of the staff of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home. Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 p.m. - Friday at the funeral home. The grandsons of Mrs. Dorothy Huff will serve as pallbeareres.
