The Obituary of Mr. Jesse Begley Officiating Ministers: Pastor Sam Baer, Rev. Randy Woods, and Rev. Steve Hacker Mr. Jesse Begley born April 15, 1932 departed this life on February 16, 2008 at the Hazard Appalchian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. He was 75 years, 9 months, and 1 day old. Jesse was born at Thousandsticks, Ky., the son of the late Jack Begley and Sallie Osborne. He was a retired factory welder with the Cincinnati Elbow, Cincinnati, Ohio. Jesse enjoyed ATV riding, horses, drawing and coloring. Mr. Jesse Begley had been a resident of Thousandsticks, Ky., since 1990, having moved from Cincinnati, Ohio Mr. Jesse Begley was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Begley & Sallie Osborne Begley, two brothers, Will Begley and Crawford Begley, & four sisters, Maultie Osborne, Pauline Young, Nancy Sandlin, and Edna Profitt. Mr. Jesse Begley leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Phyllis Griffie Begley of Thousandsticks, Ky. One Sister: Mary Jones and husband, Casey of Sizerock, Ky. Two Special Nephews: C.B. Sandlin and Bobby Holland Special Nieces: Joan Crawford Begley and Loretta Fisher Special Friends: Ellen Brewer, Teresa Bauer, Carlos and Melissa Hill And a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral for Mr. Jesse Begley will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Tuesday - February 19, 2008 at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church, Thousandsticks, Ky., with Pastor Sam Baer, Rev. Randy Woods, and Rev. Steve Hacker officiating. The interment will follow in the Gillie Osborne Family Cemetery, Thousandsticks under the direction of the staff of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. - Monday - February 18, 2008 at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church, Thousandsticks, Ky. The following will serve as pallbearers: Carlos Hill, Jerry Woods, Danny Gibson, Jeremiah Gibson, Billy Osborne, Jamie Osborne, Golden Osborne, Jr., and Brian Hacker. The Dwayne Walker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
