He was 50 years, 7 months, and 29 days old. Tex was born at Harlan, Ky., the son of Warney Joseph and the late Lutisha Dunn Joseph. Tex was a disabled logger and was affiliated with the Stinnett Church of Christ. He enjoyed four wheeler riding and gardening as hobbies. Tex was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., living at 9155 Greasy Creek Road, Chappell, Ky., at the time of his death. Tex was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lutisha Dunn Joseph. Four Grandchildren: Kierstand Karlee Reighlynn Cox, Kaleigh Jocelyn Cox, Dalton Joseph, and Hayley Joseph Nieces and Nephews: Jessica Joseph, Savanna Joseph, Justin Joseph, Jonathon Joseph, Kara Lou Joseph and Betty Marie Joseph. One Great Nephew: Blayton Dakota Collett Special Friends: Wilma Nantz, Henderson Lewis, Cindy Roberts, Burley Jackson, & Ramonda Nantz And a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death. The funeral service for Mr. Tex Joseph will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.- Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home with Keith Bowling and Coy Duff officiating. The interment will follow in the Chappell Cemetery, Britton Branch, Chappell, Ky. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
