Edna Harmon

Edna Asher Harmon was born on March 17, 1940 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Farmer Asher & Winnie Muncy Asher, she passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. at the age of 75. Edna had been a  resident of Leslie County for the last 6 years  & also lived in Florida for 35 years. She was affliated with the Church of God.  Edna enjoyed going to yard sales, playing cards & bingo & especially spending time with her family.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Harmon, brothers, Curt, Stanley & Rev. John Asher & sisters, Ollie Asher and Betty Maggard & 2 infant sisters & niece, Jackie Sue Jacobsen.

She leaves the following relatives surviving, one son, Curtis Morgan & Lisa, Hyden, KY., raised like a son, David Hamor, 2 daughters, Vicki Morgan, Hyden, KY. & Karen Collett & Gary, Essie, KY., sister, Jean Muncy, Hyden, KY., 8 grandchildren, Jason Collett, Derek Collett, Jennifer Brock, Chris Collett, Darin Morgan, Chase Morgan, Keith Wilson & Morgan Couch, 7 great-grandchildren,  Carson, Gabbie, Caylen, Chandler, Winston, Layla & Kylie & one to be born, special nieces, Martha Collett, Denise Kirkland, Louise Asher, Sharon Brown, Helen Asher & Betty Brown, special friends, Geri Sue Sizemore, Teresa Kilby, Julie Norris & Edna Barnes, also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

FUNERAL:
Saturday,March 19, 2016 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY.
